FUTURE OF THE OLD BENNETT SCHOOL

The Old Bennett School sits within the 38.5-acre Prince William County Judicial Campus, which houses courts and other public services for the region.

Although the campus is located within the City of Manassas, it is owned and operated by Prince William County and serves residents from across the county as well as Manassas and Manassas Park.

Over time, the campus has expanded to meet the needs of a growing population and evolving court system

Across multiple iterations, one point remained consistent: the Old Bennett School was preserved. It shows that alternatives to demolition have existed and were actively considered as part of the planning process.

As discussions move forward, these earlier plans reinforce a simple point: preservation has been part of the vision before, and it can be again.
